When to Use Pop Up Canopies

Many dealers of portable storage buildings and shelters also have pop-up canopies added to their line of products. Pop-up canopies, also known as party tents or EZ-up canopies, are temporary outdoor shelters with a steel or aluminum frame and a polyester canopy. When you need temporary shelter for a backyard party, beach trip, or a flea market, one of these shelters is ideal protection. Not only do one of these canopies protect you and your guests or investments but they’re light enough and, in most cases, fold up for easy transport, as well. When sold through a website like Portable Garage Depot, some of these pop-up canopy shelters have additions included, such as walls or expanded sides, and finding a shelter that meets your needs is possible.

One of these pop up canopies can be set up quickly by one to two people and, to stay in place, needs to be anchored into the ground. Most of these pop-up shelters have a simple frame that is designed to withstand the elements for short periods of time. Each pop-up tent has an aluminum or a powder-coated steel frame, with the latter designed to protect the steel from exposure to the elements. The canopy portion is a polyester canopy that has been treated to be UV and water resistant. In terms of design, most of these structures are square shaped, although rectangular options are available. The legs on these tents, in addition, are available in straight and angles forms.

A basic canopy can protect your guests, food, and other investments for a day outdoors, but what if you encounter rain or insects? Some of these canopies come with addition, such as additional walls in an enclosure pack or screens to keep out insects. The tent, in some designs, can be expanded for shelter covering a larger area with side roof extensions. If the pop-up canopy doesn’t come with these automatically, then kits with these features can be purchased separately and the additions installed.
